Overwound single-coil Jazzmaster pickup delivers a powerful tone with lots of midrange.
With its overwound coils and alnico 5-rod magnets, our Hot for Jazzmaster neck pickup gives you a fat, midrange surf tone with a nice, powerful low end. Chords will have a warm, aggressive roar, and solos with have a fat punchiness. The neck model is wound RWRP, reverse wind reverse polarity, to give you hum-cancelling when used in combination with the Hot for Jazzmaster bridge pickup. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for Fender American Standard Jazzmaster sized pickups and will fit perfectly into the original cover. Pair with our Hot Jazzmaster bridge for a balanced setup. We build these with hand ground alnico 5-rod magnets, a custom coil wind, vintage correct flatwork, and each pickup is wax potted for squeal free operation. Does not come with cover.
