Overwound single-coil Jaguar pickup delivers a fat, beefed up tone. Big sounding, and full of midrange.
Exactly as the name suggests, this pickup is a high output true single-coil that will give your Jaguar more midrange and cut than a traditional pickup. The hand ground alnico 5-rod magnets and custom coil wind will give you chords that sound fatter and fuller, and solos that are much more in-your-face. The neck model is wound RWRP, reverse wind reverse polarity, to give you hum-cancelling when used in combination with the Hot Jaguar bridge pickup. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for Fender American Standard Jaguar sized pickups and will fit perfectly into the original cover and claw. Pair with our Hot Jaguar bridge pickup for a balanced setup. We use hand ground alnico 5-rod magnets, vintage correct Forbon flatwork, and cloth push-back hook-up wire. The pickup is wax potted for squeal free performance. Does not come with cover.
