Bill Lawrence style neck humbucker (low output)

Bill Lawrence put a lot of work into designing humbuckers that had the clearest, most articulate tones possible. His most famous design is the L500XL famously used by Dimebag. But this design can be used for sublime clean tones too. By omitting the normal metal baseplate and using rails instead of thick slugs and screws, the total metal in the pickup is reduced - reducing treble loss. This results in crystal clear tone. Wound with thick 41 AWG wire and using alnico 5 magnets, this is like using a PAF with a blanket removed from your amp.
