The Artec Speedy Trigger Noise Gate is a simple noise gate pedal designed to eliminate the unwanted noise that you may experience when playing with single coils, with high gain, or around poorly shielded electronics. The pedal is used directly after the guitars output to remove the background noise and retain all the wanted instrumental sounds.
The pedal has two knobs - output and sensitivity. The output can be used to boost or shrink the volume level. The sensitivity has to be set carefully - too little sensitivity and it will not remove all the background noise. Too much sensitivity and it will start removing some of the more quiet elements of your playing.
It has two 1/4 inch jacks on the side - one for the input, one for the output. It runs off 9v DC regulated supply and can also take an internal 9v battery.
